Bio

Born in VA, General Grant received his M.D. from UVA in 1915. He was appointed Air Surgeon of the Army Air Forces in 1941 and is considered to be the grandfather of the U.S. Air Force Medical Service. Upon retirement in 1946, General Grant became the medical director for the American Red Cross.
